Fall FUN 2014 - Day 12 - SCARECROW
One of my favorite Halloween books, The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid Of Anything, involves some pants, a shirt, a hat, some shaking and bumping and a SCARECROW at the end. I'm not sure how effective SCARECROWS are these days, but back when we used to have a garden, we always included one to scare away the birds. Most of the SCARECROWS I see are not at all scary, but are definitely synonymous with Fall. I found these happy guys outside one of the schools I serve.
Have you included a SCARECROW in your seasonal decorations? Or maybe you've seen a special one at a store recently? Be creative and enjoy looking for a "scary" friend.
